Galway footballers take on Monaghan in Pearse Stadium

The Galway senior footballers are in action this Saturday evening (6pm) in Salthill against Monaghan in the final game of the All-Ireland quarter-finals. It will also be Galway's last home game of the season so all maroon GAA supporters should make the effort to get to Pearse Stadium to cheer their side on.

Following on from last weekend's epic 1-30 to 1-30 draw with Clare after extra time at Croke Park, the Galway hurlers will have to find the energy and drive to do it all again this Sunday, when they face the Banner men in the All-Ireland semi-final replay at Semple Stadium (Thurles) at 2pm.

Following on from their 0-18 to 0-11 win over Clare last weekend in the All-Ireland quarter-finals at O’ Connor Park in Tullamore, the Galway minors will take on Meath in the All-Ireland semi-final at Croke Park on the weekend of August 11/12.
Hopefully that fixture will be a double header with the Kevin Walsh’s senior side who are already through to the semi-finals.
