The case of an Oranmore man accused of illegally cultivating more than €2,000 worth of cannabis plants in a shed has been adjourned.
Jason Donnellan (23) with an address at 3 Castle Court, Oranmore, was summoned to appear at Galway District Court recently for drug related offences which include being in possession of cannabis as well as cultivating, without a licence, plants of the genus cannabis - contrary to Section 17 and Section 27 (as amended by Section 7 of the Misuse of Drugs Act 1984) of the Misuse of Drugs Act 1977 - at a former residence in the Cloonarkin Drive area of Oranmore on July 2 2010.
