We may not be able to travel very far at the moment, but Galway is the place to be according to readers of prestigious travel magazine Condé Nast Traveller, who have named it the friendliest city in Europe in the annual Readers' Choice Awards.

Galway topped the list of the Top Ten Friendliest Cities in Europe in the latest edition of Condé Nast Traveller, ahead of second place Dublin, showing that Ireland is still top of people's minds when it comes to holiday destinations.

Ryanair announces four week suspension of flights from Ireland West Airport
