Student achievements celebrated at Kumon 2020 awards

Thu, Sep 24, 2020

The achievements of students of all ages and abilities were safely celebrated at the Kumon 2020 Awards held at the Galway Greyhound Stadium. Presentations were made in single household groups who stood for a photoshoot (by Murtography) with the Mayor of Galway City, Cllr. The Kumon programmes in Maths and English are completely individualised, finding the just right start point for each student from a diagnostic assessment. The student progresses through doing a small amount of work daily, (20 minutes or less) at a pace best suited to that student. The programme is designed to encourage independent learning, and over time, with committed study, many students work far ahead of their age.
