The Dublin trio will play Citóg at The Cellar Bar tomorrow night. The Dead Flags combine 1950s sensibilities with punk and doo wop to create an infectious and raucous sound.

THE 30TH anniversary of the founding of Salmon Poetry will be marked at the Over The Edge reading in the Galway City Library on Thursday October 27 at 6.30pm.

The readers will be Kevin Simmonds, Luke Morgan, and Salmon co-founder Jessie Lendennie. Salmon was established in Galway city in 1981 with the publication of The Salmon International Literary Journal.
