Cregg Castle artists’ exhibition

A GROUP exhibition by the resident artists of Cregg Castle Arts Venue opens in the Town Hall Theatre tomorrow at 6pm.

The exhibition, entitled Between Now and Then, features work by Alan Murray, Siobhan Ross, Susan Walsh, Paddy Quigley, Martina Finn, and John O’Sullivan, who work in a variety of mixed media.

A concert fit for a king

CEOL DON Rí/Music Fit For A King is the title of a concert which takes place this evening at 8pm in the Nuns Island Theatre.

At the show, the Coracle trio - Siobhán Armstrong (harp), Barnaby Brown (triple and Highland pipes), and Griogair Labhruidh (vocals) - along with American harpist Ann Heymann and Scots Gaelic singer Talitha MacKenzie, will perform Gaelic music for pipe and harps, as well as song, from Scotland and Ireland. The era of music being covered runs from the medieval period to the 18th century.
