THE GREAT musical Cats, by Andrew Lloyd-Weber, is being staged by Loughrea Youth Theatre in the town’s Temperance Hall.

This show, based on TS Eliot’s poems for children, can be seen at 7.30pm on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, and from Saturday August 3 to Monday 5.

Is Linne An Tolg! by French author, Gerard Moncomble, illustrator Fredéric Pillot, and translated into Irish by Galwegian Patricia MacEoin, will be launched in Club Árus na nGael, Dominick Street, this Saturday at 1pm.
