FIONA SCOBLE, Mary Noonan, and Dave Donovan will read at the Over The Edge: Open Reading in the Galway City Library on Thursday November 15 at 6.30pm.

Kent native, Fiona Scoble, works as an artist and illustrator. In 2011 her children’s book, Bright Minds in the “Dark Ages”, was published by CE4CE as a teaching resource. She recently joined the “Java Writers” in publishing a collection of short stories, Infusions, to be launched this December.

Theatre for children at An Taibhdhearc

THE BABORÓ festival has concluded but that does not mean that theatre shows and experiences for children should come to a close for another year.

As a result, Branar Téatar do Phaistí in association with An Taibhdhearc and Baboró will present a season of theatre for children on the first Saturday of each month starting this Saturday and running until April. The ‘Saturday Shows’ take place in An Taibhdhearc, Middle Street, with two performances of each show at 11am and 1pm.
