THE BIG Sing Multicultural Community Choir will celebrate it’s first birthday at it’s First Birthday Bash at The Cottage Bar, Lower Salthill, on Friday September 18 at 8pm.

The event is to help welcome new members, celebrate the regulars and their achievements, and to thank all the people who have helped the group over the past 12 months. All are welcome.

The first reading is merely an introduction to an intricate cast of characters who are touched in one way or the other by one of those unusual events that can only happen in New York city. The second reading allows the reader to fully appreciate McCann’s mastery not only as a storyteller, but also as a word craftsman and novelist.
