The ‘An Post Bookshop of the Year’ category is designed to acknowledge the significant role played by independent bookshops and local branches of bookshop chains in helping their local communities to find and savour the titles of their choice. The new category was unveiled last year and thousands of votes were cast, with Kenny’s Bookshop in Galway crowned the overall winner.

Initially launched in early May as a pop-up comedy club, Tigh He-He has proven a hit through the summer with four different comedians each week.

The members were deeply shocked and saddened to hear of Kieran’s sudden passing in March of this year. Kieran’s family have kindly agreed to go ahead with this exhibition in Kieran’s memory. Organisers hope to pay tribute and celebrate Kieran’s legacy as an artist and his generosity of spirit.
