NASHVILLE SONGWRITERS Marcum Stewart, award winning Irish born Pete Kennedy, and the award-winning Shantell Ogden, will play a triple bill concert at Monroe’s Live this Saturday.
Shantell Ogden's songs have received airplay on more than 800 country and Americana radio stations internationally, reaching Top 2 chart positions both in the US and Europe. She has won critical acclaim from Maverick and Performer magazines, Music News Nashville, and For The Country Record. She won Songwriter of the Year and Americana Song of the Year, for 'Ghosts In The Field', in the 2015 IMEA Awards, and Americana Album of the Year for Better at Goodbye in the 2014 IMEA Awards.
Since his debut in 2010 with the single 'This Time', Pete Kennedy has won international music awards and toured across the US and Europe. His influences include The Eagles, Kris Kristofferson, Emmylou Harris, and Garth Brooks. He has played at the International Artist Showcase at the CMA Music Festival, and was nominated for Album of the Year and Song of the Year at the 2012 BCMA Awards.
Marcum Stewart has been a songwriter/producer since 1994. Having played in a number of rock bands, he moved to Nashville and was part of the country duo Acklen Park with Andrea Villarreal, who had a hit with 'Great American Song'. Marcum has also had songs featured in Hart of Dixie, and in the 2013 movie Storm Rider.
