Cloud Castle Lake to play Strange Brew

EQUAL PARTS pastoral folk and soaring post-rock crescendos, Dublin trio Cloud Castle Lake have won acclaim for their epic live performances.

Galway will be able to see the band - Daniel McAuley, Brendan Jenkinson, and Rory O’Connor - in action when they play Strange Brew at the Róisín Dubh on Thursday March 26 at 9pm.

The band will play songs from their debut EP Dandelion, a collection of atmospheric and dynamic music. The recent expanded edition also contains the new single ‘Turn Your Head’ which is released on Monday. It follows ‘Glacier’, which was released in February.

The band has supported Glasser, Lisa Hannigan, and Nigel Godrich’s Ultraísta, and played Electric Picnic, Body & Soul, Canadian Music Week, and the Turbine Hall in London’s Tate Modern.
