Old-school ska @ Kelly’s

INTERSKALACTIC, hailed as “the future of ska in Ireland” by The Late Late Show’s Ryan Tubridy, bring their old-school Jamaican style ska to Kelly’s this Saturday at 9.30pm.

Interskalactic have won acclaim for their live performances, which feature covers of The Skatalites, Byron Lee & the Dragonaires, and Prince Buster, along with the band’s own ska styled versions of popular hits, and original compositions. The band have played the Electric Picnic, Body & Soul, Cork Jazz festivals; opened for Madness in Dublin and Belfast.

Support is from Galway roots-reggae/ska band The Clandestinos who perform songs by Bob Marley & The Wailers, Peter Tosh, and Madness.
