TEDFEST 2015, the annual celebration of all things Father Ted returns to Galway this month with a table quiz and Toilet Duck Awards taking place in the city’s West End.
First up is the Tedfest Table Quiz in Massimo on Monday February 23. All questions will be Father Ted related. The first prize is a VIP day trip to Tedfest on Inis Mór. Registration is at 8pm. The cost is €40 for a table of four, or €30 in advance from roisindubh.net
The Tedfest Toilet Duck Awards 2015 take place in the Róisín Dubh on Tuesday February 24 at 8pm, and will be hosted by Galway based New Zealand comic Danny Dowling. The night will see 16 emerging stand-up comedians go head to head in a comedic war of wits until only one is left standing. The winner will get a gig in Edinburgh in August and the Toilet Duck trophy.
Admission is €5 and includes free admission to Silent Disco afterwards.
