Prose, verse and music at The Poetry Sessions

STORIES, POEMS, and music will be on display at the Galway Fringe Festival’s The Poetry Sessions, which run throughout this week.

The readings take place in the Wrens Nest, Padraig’s Place, New Dock Road at 3pm each day, and will feature poets and prose writers reading from their work, along with traditional music and singing.

Today’s readers are Gráinne Ní Fhoighil and Pauline Ní Chonaonaighí. Tomorrow will see readings from the poet Emily Cullen, prose from the Galway Advertiser arts editor Kernan Andrews, and Padraic Harvey. On Saturday there will be poems and stories by actor/writer Diarmaid de Faoite and music from violinist and singer, Nuala Ní Chanainn.
