Health and Herbs introduces Small Crane herb garden

Health and Herbs, the natural health clinic based in Galway city, is introducing a new community herb garden to the public on Saturday July 5 at 12 noon in the Small Crane, Galway.

The launch of the herb garen will coincide with the open day at Health and Herbs in aid of Enable Ireland, which is running from 12 noon to 4pm.

Health and Herbs planted the flowerbeds in the Small Crane with easy to grow herbs in autumn 2013, and are delighted to see so many plants have thrived.

Free fresh juice and herb tea will be available on the day.

Health and Herbs leader, Dr Dilis Clare, said: “It’s always a pleasure to share my knowledge and passion for herbs, for foraging, seasoning, and medicine. People are amazed at the range of familiar plants that they pass every day, never suspecting the hidden benefits within their leaves, stems, and roots. We bring the magic of healing herbs right into your teapot.”
