Just ask McCambridge’s

McCambridges of Galway has been awarded Just Ask Restaurant of the Month for April.

Bord Bia’s Just Ask campaign encourages diners to look for information on the origin of the food on their plate. The Restaurant of the Month award is given to restaurants and cafes that demonstrate best practice in providing customers with this information.

Now in its fifth year, the Bord Bia Just Ask campaign has been embraced by the restaurant trade. Selected by renowned food writer Georgina Campbell and Bord Bia, the Just Ask Restaurant of the Month rewards eateries across Ireland that have committed to showing transparency in the sourcing of the food on their menus.

Georgina Campbell says the team at McCambridge’s works hard to source premium quality, locally sourced produce.

“ The McCambridge’s menu has something to suit every taste with a wide selection of freshly made sandwiches, sumptuous hot dishes and sharing platters to enjoy when breaking bread with friends,” she says.

Established in 1925, McCambridge’s food deli and fine food store is a first port of call for many food lovers visiting Galway. The ‘Upstairs at McCambridges’ casual eatery is run by siblings Eoin, Natalie and Norma McCambridge, first cousins of the McCambridge family that is synonymous with pre-sliced brown soda bread.
