Galway businesses have until Monday (February 24 ) to register for this year’s Best of Galway Awards, organised by the Galway Advertiser.
A huge success last year, the awards give businesses the opportunity to stand out from the crowd, and are selected by the people whose opinions matter the most - customers.
It also enables Galway businesses to be showcased in their local community, while the general public get to vote for their favourite.
Businesses can register free of charge for the Galway Advertiser's Best of Galway Awards 2014 competition by choosing an applicable category - Best Pub, Best Hotel, Best Restaurant Cafe, Best Fashion Outlet, Best Retailer, Best Health & Beauty/Hairdresser, Best Motor Dealer, Best Home & Garden, Best Service Provider and Best Professional/Financial Service.
A marketing campaign will appear in the Galway Advertiser to encourage people to vote for their favourite business, while entrants will also have to spread the word to their customers.
Winners will be announced at a special awards ceremony on Friday April 11 when the top three finalists of each category will attend, and the winner in each category will be announced.
Voting from the general public begins on Thursday February 27 and ends on midnight on Monday March 31.
