TG4’s award winning series Corp agus Anam is returning to Galway to film a second series and is currently looking for extras.
Casting will take place at Aras na nGael, Dominick Street, on Friday August 30 from 12pm to 6pm, looking for men and women over 18 years of age.
Corp agus Anam tells the story of crime correspondent Cathal Mac Iarnáin, a man obsessed with pursuing the story behind the story regardless of the consequences. In its debut season, the show dealt with such delicate issues as health service neglect, internet paedophilia, boy-racer recklessness, and police corruption. The show stars Galway’s own Diarmuid de Faoite as the determined journalist and Maria Doyle Kennedy, best known for her role in The Tudors.
The critically acclaimed show picked up no fewer than five nominations at the Irish Film and Televison Awards for best television drama, best writer, best leading male and female actors, and winning in the category of best Irish language programme.
