The Wonderful World of Dissocia

LISA JONES lost an hour when her flight to London crossed the Greenwich meridian at the exact moment daylight savings time ended.

However a Swiss specialist offers to help her find that lost hour so balance can be restored to her life. What happened next is a magical journey for Lisa and her new friend.

This is The Wonderful World of Dissocia by Scotland’s Anthony Neilson which examines dissociative disorder, which involves disruptions or breakdowns of memory, awareness, identity or perception.

The play will be performed by PLC students from Galway Community College’s Theatre Performance Course and directed by Aoife Connolly, artistic director of Bluepatch Productions.

The Wonderful World of Dissocia will be staged in Druid Lane Theatre on Wednesday February 6 and Thursday 7 at 8pm. Tickets are €10 and are available on the door or by emailing [email protected]
