DERRY ELECTRONIC band The Japanese Popstars will perform a special DJ set at Carbon, nightclub this Bank Holiday Sunday, from 11pm.
The Japanese Popstars – Gary Curran, Declan ‘Decky Hedrock’ McLaughlin, and Gareth Donoghue – have been together for four years and have carved a reputation to rival the biggest names in dance music as a must-see live act and purveyor of raucous, foot-stomping, energetic electronic dance music.
They band have done remix work for Beyoncé, Daft Punk, Depeche Mode, Ting Tings, and Editors and have played such festivals as Oxegen, Glastonbury, Electric Picnic, Benicassim, and Bestival.
Support is from James O’Callaghan (Stanley & Friends/Union ), Evan McSweeney (Itchy Labels/Union ), and Adrohan.
Admission is €8/5 and tickets are available on the door only on the night.
