Western Hygiene highly commended on national level

Western Hygiene has been named as a winner of a Small Firms Association (SFA ) 'Highly Commended' National Business Award in the Services category. Sponsored by Eircom, this prestigious award was presented to Terry Costelloe, sales manager, at the SFA awards ceremony in Trinity College Dining Hall recently.

From humble beginnings with one employee in 1988 supplying customers with hygiene supplies, Western Hygiene has grown to become an innovative, progressive company. Western Hygiene currently employs 28 people throughout Ireland and has plans for more growth this year. One of the more recent developments within the company has been the launch of a new healthcare division.

“To be recognised on a national level by the SFA is very rewarding for all of our staff here at Western Hygiene’’, said managing director, Kevin Collins.

“We are very pleased to be ‘highly commended’ in the services category as we were competing against many great established companies.

“We are looking forward to the year ahead and this is a great way to start it off. Our plans are to continue innovating and growing and providing our customers with the best products.” stated Kevin Collins.

Western Hygiene has built up good relationships with its customers and is willing and able to supply all orders no matter how large or small in Ireland.

The aim of the SFA awards is to celebrate the achievements of small business in Ireland, and to recognise the vital contribution of the small business sector to Irish industry, especially now at a time now when it is most needed.
