With voting in the ITTN Irish Travel Trade Awards set to close tomorrow, Fahy Travel is asking customers past and present to help the team make it three in a row for the company to win Top Touring Agent in Ireland.
Fahy Travel has won the Top Cruising and Top Luxury Agent awards in previous years, and its efforts in promoting all types of touring holidays, from adventure trips to solo breaks, have led to nomination for this award for the third year. The company has also been shortlisted in several other categories, including Best Overall Travel Agent, Best Luxury Holidays, Best Ocean and River Cruise, Top Ski Agent and Top Summer Sun Agent.
"These nominations come from our suppliers recognising the expertise and commitment of the sales team to find the right holiday for their clients," said managing director Maura Fahy. "We have found that our customers are now looking for a variety of experiences on a holiday. Irish clients like to travel with like-minded people, and there is a growing number of destinations offering holidays based in one place with activities and tours arranged throughout the week.
“The awards are particularly meaningful to us because they reflect the support of both our customers and our industry suppliers," she added. "We are incredibly grateful for the loyalty and encouragement we receive from people throughout Galway and the west of Ireland.
“We would be absolutely delighted if our customers, friends and supporters could get behind us once again and help bring the Top Touring Agent title back to Galway for a third year in a row.”
