The Rabbit’s Riot Theatre Company presents Homesick, starring Kyle Gerald Conlon, at the Town Hall Studio for one night only on Thursday, October 1.
Directed by Sonia Norris, the one man show follows Jason, who emigrated to Perth three and a half weeks ago. Jason also returned home to Leitrim three and a half weeks ago.
Hiding in his childhood bedroom unbeknownst to his family, fielding FaceTimes and queries about the weather, it’s only a matter of time before things go sideways.
Written by Treasa Nealon and previously performed at the Dublin Fringe Festival, the 50 minute performance explores how grief shapes us and how fear paralyses us.
Trinity News said: “The audience's captivation during the most gut-wrenching sections of [Conlon’s] monologue was palpable, and his execution of the many intricate layers of the story was incredible.”
Presented as part of the LASTA 2026 young curator’s festival, the show is supported by The Glens Arts Centre, Irish Theatre Institute, and Leitrim County Council.
Themes of mental health and suicide. Suitable for ages 18+.
