Connacht Hospitality Group (CHG ) is celebrating an outstanding achievement after securing multiple finalist places at the prestigious Bar of the Year Awards, highlighting the group's continued commitment to excellence across its award-winning hospitality venues.
The nominations recognise the quality and diversity of CHG's portfolio, with venues across Galway shortlisted in categories celebrating customer experience, cocktails, sport, tourism, and traditional Irish hospitality.
HYDE Bar Galway has earned nominations for both Hotel Bar of the Year and Cocktail Bar of the Year, reflecting its reputation for stylish surroundings, innovative drinks, and exceptional service. Popular city-centre venue An Púcán has been recognised in the Best Place to Watch a Match and Tourist Bar of the Year categories, celebrating its vibrant atmosphere and appeal to both locals and visitors. M. Fitzgerald's Bar has been shortlisted for Traditional Bar of the Year, while The Connacht Hotel has also secured a place among the finalists for Hotel Bar of the Year.
Adding to the celebrations, Connacht Hospitality Group has been shortlisted for the highly sought-after Best Pub Groupaward, recognising the strength of its collection of venues and its ongoing commitment to innovation, quality, and outstanding customer service.
The nominations follow another successful year for the group, marked by continued investment across its venues, an exciting calendar of events, enhanced food and beverage offerings, and a focus on creating memorable experiences for guests from Galway and beyond.
