Kennys Bookshop are delighted to be hosting a very special event with bestselling author Robert Harris in Galway's Black Box Theatre on Friday, September 18.
Robert Harris is the author of sixteen bestselling novels including Fatherland, Enigma, Munich, Precipice and the Cicero Trilogy - Imperium, Lustrum and Dictator among others. His work has been translated into forty languages and nine of his books have been adapted for cinema and television.
This event celebrates the release of his Harris’s new novel, Agrippa, and he will be joined in conversation by a special guest yet to be announced!
In Agrippa, Robert Harris returns to ancient Rome, in a compelling exploration of friendship and power. Ailing and alone, Roman general and statesman, Agrippa starts work on his memoirs.
From his earliest meetings with Julius Caesar, through the epic conflict with Mark Antony and Cleopatra and the endless wars to expand the empire, he is forced to confront how the cunning, ruthless, unknowable Emperor Augustus has dominated his life. Agrippa will be published in August.
The event will take place at Galway’s Town Hall Theatre on Friday September 18 at 8pm.
