Third Year Calasanctius College student David Frazer has stood out as an up-and-coming athlete, and is one to keep a close eye on going forward.
This year, he represented Ireland's Under 17 Boys Team at the Celtic Cross Country Championship in London and contributed to that team's gold medal. Last year, he placed third in the All-Ireland Junior Boys Cross Country Final in Ballybrit representing Calasanctius.
He then went one better for his club, Craughwell AC, finishing second in the Under-16 Boys All-Ireland Final. He has also run a very impressive 15:50 5k.
David has won numerous Connacht titles in both Cross Country and on the Track, and manages to balance success this with his studies at school.
