Choosing the right pathway in education or employment is an important decision. To support individuals at every stage of their journey, Galway and Roscommon Education and Training Board (GRETB ) is bringing all of its Further Education and Training (FET ) services together for the first time at a major regional Open Day.
GRETB Open Day - Further Education and Training (FET ) will take place on Tuesday, March 10, from 9am to 8pm, at The Galmont Hotel and Spa, Galway (H91 CYN3 ). This landmark event will showcase the extensive range of education, training, and community learning opportunities available across Galway and Roscommon.
The Open Day is open to all members of the community, including:

· Guidance counsellors seeking current and comprehensive information

Attendees will have the opportunity to engage directly with tutors, learners, and staff to explore both full-time and part-time programmes. Information will be available on Post Leaving Certificate (PLC ) courses, tertiary access routes to higher education, apprenticeships, traineeships, adult literacy services, outdoor education, youth and arts programmes, and community education initiatives.
The day will feature interactive information stands, panel discussions, and live demonstrations, providing practical insights into the many pathways available. A dedicated sensory hour will also be offered to ensure a calm and accessible environment for those who may benefit from it.
