Connemara band, CLADA, brings their vibrant trad music to Monroe’s Live on Saturday, October 25, at 8pm with support from Robbie Monaghan.

Formed in late 2023, this high-energy lineup blends tradition with rhythm with Orla Leavy on fiddle, Sam Carey on guitar, Liam Tierney on accordion, Sam Purcell on drums, and Eoin Salmon on bass.

CLADA brings a fresh energy, balancing tradition with a playful, modern edge. Their goal is to take what’s long been celebrated in Irish culture and make it more accessible for new audiences.

That ambition has already caught attention on the national stage, with their live performances praised for their rhythm, drive and sense of fun.

Their upcoming show at Monroe’s Live is set to showcase exactly why CLADA are being hailed as one of the most dynamic young folk bands emerging today.

The performance marks an important milestone as they continue to build their presence across Ireland’s festival and live circuit, following a whirlwind headline tour across Ireland and in London, Birmingham and Italy.

For Galway audiences, it’s a chance to see a band at the beginning of what promises to be an exciting journey from a group who are unafraid to experiment while staying true to their roots.

They also went down a storm at Electric Picnic this year and are quickly gaining recognition as one of Ireland’s new generation of musicians.
