Run to the Beast bring Iron Maiden tribute to Monroe’s Live

Iron Maiden tribute band Run to the Beast will perform at Monroe’s Live on Friday, October 24, with doors opening at 9pm.

The five-piece group has been steadily building a reputation for faithfully recreating the sound and energy of one of heavy metal’s most influential bands.

Formed by dedicated Iron Maiden fans, Run to the Beast perform what they describe as a show by the fans, for the fans.

Their live sets span more than forty years of Iron Maiden’s music, from the early records that defined the new wave of British heavy metal to later releases that cemented the band’s global legacy.

This includes blistering anthems such as The Trooper, Run to the Hills, and Fear of the Dark.

Iron Maiden’s influence on heavy metal and rock is far-reaching. Albums such as The Number of the Beast (1982 ), Powerslave (1984 ), and Seventh Son of a Seventh Son (1988 ) helped shape the sound of modern metal.

Their mascot, Eddie, and their elaborate live shows have become enduring symbols of heavy metal culture.

Run to the Beast pay homage to this legacy through an authentic approach to live performance.

Together, they capture the excitement of a Maiden concert and they have performed in venues across the country.

This October performance offers Galway audiences the chance to experience the enduring power of Iron Maiden’s music, performed live by musicians who share a deep respect for one of rock’s defining acts.

Tickets to Run to the Beast at Monroe’s Live on Friday, October 24, at 9pm cost €15 and are available from www.monroes.ie
