Fronted by Christy Trimble, a lifelong Springsteen fan, the six-piece band delivers an authentic sound, performing hits from Born in the USA through to tracks from Letter to You.
Glory Days honed their craft through years of recording and touring, and Christy’s gravelly, passionate vocals are unmatched.
The current line-up features talented musicians Austin O’Keefe on keyboards and backing vocals, Colin Heaney on drums, Dave Marrow on guitar, Bob Masala on bass, and Antonello D’Orazio on sax.
Together, they bring Springsteen’s music to life with a new show that spans the range of his iconic discography.
“We last played a 40th anniversary show,” says Christy, “and our new show is completely different. We will cover everything from the first album to the latest, with all the best hits.
“It’s hard to pick our favourites, but we’re looking forward to returning to the only venue we play in the city.
“Monroe’s Live is fantastic for getting up close with the audience. Galway has a great vibe, and the staff and atmosphere at Monroe’s always make us feel welcome.”
Glory Days recreate the atmosphere of a Springsteen concert, from anthemic rock to soulful ballads, making it a night to celebrate the legacy of The Boss.
Don’t miss your chance to relive the magic at Monroe’s Live on Friday, October 3 with doors open at 9pm.
