Reader and Alan Kelly have established themselves as mesmerising stewards of Celtic traditions, and purveyors of the contemporary.

Reader is known as a musician and storyteller. Rising to prominence with her band Fairground Attraction, and her work with the Eurythmics and Gang of Four, she secured her place in Scottish hearts with her revival of Robert Burns’ treasured poems.

Simultaneously, Kelly has earned the title of a national treasure. He has long been declared Ireland’s innovative piano accordion maestro and a leading light in the development of contemporary Irish trad.

This year, they celebrate 15 years of friendship and collaboration with a tour of Britain and Ireland that finishes in Galway city this week.
