Steely Dan tribute band, Aja, to rock Monroe’s Live This September

Dublin-based band Aja will recreate the legendary music of Steely Dan at Monroe’s Live on Saturday, September 20, with doors open at 9pm.

This 8-piece powerhouse captures the formidable jazz, rock and pop discography of the band that sold over 40 million records worldwide and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

For over 14 years, Aja has brought to life the intricate arrangements, harmonies, and musicianship that define Steely Dan's style. Named after the critically acclaimed 1977 album, this tribute group pays homage to Donald Fagen and Walter Becker with guitar, brass, keyboard solos and vocal prowess.

Their live show is a celebration of Steely Dan’s music, journeying through the entire Aja album in the first half of the performance. With a combined experience of over 40 years, these consummate musicians replicate the original band’s jazz fusion with authenticity.
