Galway Community College is now enrolling for its autumn adult education part-time courses. Whether you are looking to develop new skills, explore a hobby or gain a qualification, there is something for everyone in this year’s line-up.
Courses range from practical hands-on workshops such as DIY (carpentry, upcycling furniture, upholstery ), arts and crafts (oil painting and drawing, jewellery making, sewing, knitting, millinery, flower arranging, interior design ) to language studies (Spanish, Irish, Sign Language ), beauty and wellness (makeup artistry, yoga ) and academic training options include human resources, mathematics and special needs assisting.
“Our part-time courses are designed to be accessible, affordable, and enjoyable,” said Siobhan Hawkins, director of adult education at Galway Community College. “They provide a welcoming environment where people can meet others, learn at their own pace, and gain confidence in a supportive setting.”
Courses take place in the evenings at Galway Community College, Wellpark Road, making them ideal for those balancing work, family, and personal commitments.
