In their song 'Joyce Country Céilí Band', the Saw Doctors proclaim they will play any "house, pub or parish hall", but they can perform at massive festivals too, as County Galway's most famous rockers have been added to the Electric Picnic line-up.

Tuam's triumphant sons, The Saw Doctors, are a late addition to the bill, alongside Inhaler, David Gray, Nile Rodgers + CHIC, Noel and Mike Hogan with the RTÉ Concert Orchestra, Jazzy, The Coronas, King Kong Company, The 2 Johnnies, Mark McCabe, and I'm Grand Mam.

The previously confirmed headliners are Hozier, Chappell Roan, Sam Fender, Fatboy Slim, Kings of Leon, and Becky Hill for the festival in Stradbally, Co Laois from August 29, to 31.

The Saw Doctors are fresh from a sold-out tour of the United States, which included Cleveland, Chicago, Los Angeles, and Boston, culminating in a gig at New York’s Central Park. Their US tour followed sold-out dates at Dublin’s Fairview Park, and Cork’s Virgin Media Park in June, as well as a slot at the famous Isle of Wight Festival in England.

This is not the first time the Doctors have played EP, as they were a late addition to the festival in August last year.

The band's current single, ‘Man in the Moon (The Mark Reeder Remix )’ is available now on all streaming services.
