Coming first place in both vocal competitions, she was awarded the Percy Whitehead Cup and the Thomas Moore Cup.

A graduate of the Royal Irish Academy of Music, Banks will begin her postgraduate studies at the Royal Academy of Music in London this September after winning a full scholarship for the prestigious British school. She has been competing in the Feis Ceoil since 2014.

A selection of the most outstanding competitors from this year’s Feis Ceoil will be showcased at a special Gala Concert in the National Concert Hall on Monday, June 23, at 7:30pm.
