The Seattle Grunge Experience will celebrate ten years recreating the sound of four of the biggest grunge bands in history at Monroe’s Live on Friday, May 23, with doors open at 9pm.
This exciting tribute act focuses on four of the most iconic bands from the Pacific Northwest: Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, and Alice in Chains. A two-hour set captures the distinctive sound and energy of each group.
As part of this milestone tour, the band will play Pearl Jams’ album Ten in full, followed by classic grunge anthems.
Their set includes tracks made famous in Europe through repeated MTV airplay in the 90s, such as ‘Smells Like Teen Spirit’, ‘Even Flow’, ‘Black Hole Sun’, and ‘Would?’.
Formed in 2015 out of a shared love for the music that defined a generation, The Seattle Grunge Experience recreates both the electric and unplugged performances that brought the genre to a global audience.
The show pays homage to the full spectrum of grunge, from the raw punk energy of Nirvana, to the heavier, melodic tones of Alice in Chains, alongside the emotional intensity of Pearl Jam and the complex arrangements of Soundgarden.
Designed to appeal to long-time fans and newcomers alike, this performance offers a live retrospective of a movement that reshaped alternative music.
