Club 30 crowd claim to get home to bed early...

This Friday, April 25, tribute band Negative Creeps return to channel the raw energy of Nirvana in a late-night performance.

Hailing from Newry, the three-piece band brings authenticity and intensity to its set-list, covering the breadth of Nirvana’s music, from the anthemic ‘Come as You Are’ to the brooding power of ‘All Apologies’.

Bassist Patrick Campbell, guitarist and vocalist Seán McAlinden, and drummer Del McParland invite fans to relive the grunge era, with doors open at 11pm.

Tickets €13 available from www.monroes.ie Club 30 returns on Saturday, April 26, after the popular over-30s dance event sold-out in March.

From 6pm to 10pm, attendees can dance to classics from the Eighties, Nineties and Noughties without the commitment of a late night.

Organised as an early evening club experience, Club 30 creates a space for those who miss the dance floor and want to be home at a reasonable hour.

Tickets €10 from www.monroes.ie The venue’s late-night club comes to life from 10pm thanks to Flashback with DJ Flako, spinning the best of the Eighties amd Nineties to keep the party going. Entry is €10 on the door.

On Tuesday, April 29, Monroe’s will host a special evening of traditional Irish music featuring Swedish folk band Quilty and acclaimed Irish musician Andy Irvine.

Renowned for their interpretation of Irish music across Europe, Quilty join forces with Irvine, a founding member of Planxty and a central figure in the Irish folk revival.

With doors at 8pm and tickets priced at €25, this fully seated concert offers a compelling mix of tradition and innovation.
