The Kane sisters from Letterfrack will feature on TG4’s ‘Music Network - Ar an mBóthar’ this Sunday, April 27, at 9.30pm.
Award winning fiddle players Liz and Yvonne Kane will play in a selection of virtuoso performances made up from recipients of TG4’s Gradam Ceoil 2024, considered the the premier accolade in traditional music.
Liz and Yvonne are the 2024 Group of the Year. Influenced by the traditional music of Sligo and East Galway, especially Paddy Fahey’s works, they have performed at prestigious venues including Carnegie Hall and the Royal Albert Hall, and collaborated with artists like The Chieftains.
