Take on the Croagh Patrick Climb for Galway Hospice on Saturday, 21st June.
This annual event brings together families, friends and colleagues from Galway and beyond to conquer the iconic Reek in Westport, all while raising vital funds for Galway Hospice.
A special memorial service will take place at the summit on 21st June to honour and remember loved ones.
This year’s climb was officially launched by Galway Camogie player Alannah Kelly, who is an Occupational Therapist at Galway Hospice.
“I see first-hand every day the incredible care and support Galway Hospice provides both in the hospice and in the community,” said Alannah. “All funds raised through events like the Croagh Patrick Climb help enhance care for our patients and their families.”
The Croagh Patrick Climb is an important annual fundraiser for Galway Hospice. Registration is €25, which includes technical t-shirt, refreshments and bus transport (if required ), sponsored by Callinan Coaches Ltd. The bus will depart from Galway Hospice at 7.15am on the day of the climb, pre-booking is essential.
