Have you got questions about a Home Energy Upgrade, how to apply for SEAI (Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland ) Grants or when to start the process of making your home more energy efficient?
Then why not come along to Envirobead’s Home Energy Upgrade Information Evening next Thursday, April 10, in The Ardilaun Hotel in Galway at 7:30pm.
Envirobead is one of Ireland’s leading deep retrofit specialists, and they are bringing a panel of experts to Galway to answer all your questions about insulation, ventilation, solar panels, heat pumps and much more.
If you register for the event now at envirobead.com you will also get a free Home Energy Assessment (HEA ) worth €850, courtesy of Envirobead who are currently rolling out their ‘One Stop Shop’ service across the country.
“The Home Energy Assessment is the first step that will give you all the information required to show you what needs to be done to bring your home up to a B2 minimum rating,” explains Fergal Cantwell of Envirobead.
“The biggest reason to get a Home Energy Upgrade is to future-proof your home for the next 25 to 30 years. You will have a more comfortable home and, hopefully, reduce your energy bills into the future as well.”
A panel of Home Energy Upgrade experts — including Stephen Farrell (SEAI, Programme Manager National Retrofit Technical ), April McHale (Retrofit Manager, Daikin ) and Hugh Foley (RTS Heating and Cooling ) — will be in attendance at the The Ardilaun Hotel to explain the various aspects of the ‘One Stop Shop’ initiative.
The expert panel will also take part in a question-and-answer session, which always proves to be very informative and worthwhile.
“If you are looking at doing a deep retrofit, the ‘One Stop Shop’ is the only way to go for your Home Energy Upgrade. It is so much simpler,” says Justine Barrett from the SEAI.
“The 'One Stop Shop' is going to organise the SEAI grants, and they are going to apply for them on your behalf, you only have to pay the net of the grants, they will co-ordinate all the contractors, and take all that hassle out for you.”
“We have been working together as a team for 10 years; we all move together as one body to carry out the installations,” said Hugh Foley of RTS Heating and Cooling. “The job happens seamlessly and easily.”
Peter Finn — aka Pete The Builder from RTE’s ‘Home Rescue’ — will also be in attendance to give some tips and advice about Home Energy Upgrades.
