PorkPie on their 'Truth or Dare' tour

High-octane Scottish ska band PorkPie will bring their upcoming ‘Truth or Dare’ tour to Monroe’s Live on Saturday, October 4, with doors open at 8pm.

This 9-piece powerhouse brings the vibrant sounds of two-tone ska revival to life with a thumping brass section, guitars, keys, and the signature PorkPie hats.

The band aims to bring audiences straight back to the glory days of ska, at its height in the late Seventies and early Eighties, to the sounds of The Beat, The Selecter, Madness, and The Specials.

Their mix of classic ska standards and fun originals has made them a festival favourite, with appearances at Stone Valley Festivals, Edinburgh’s Hogmanay Street Party, and Belladrum. They have also sold-out shows at iconic venues like The 100 Club in London and The Limelight in Belfast.

Since the release of their acclaimed 2023 album Skandemic, they have been making waves across Britain and Ireland. PorkPie’s sound merges a DIY punk ethic with big-band showmanship. Their singles ‘Dog Fight’ and ‘Hands Go Numb’ have received wide acclaim.

The band’s new single ‘Truth or Dare’ dropped last month, and their highly anticipated new album is due for release in April 2025.
