Monroe’s Live is turning back the clock at its Backstage venue with a New Year’s Eve Re-Run event on Friday, January 31.
Doors open from 11pm and this ‘Just Because’ theme night promises the excitement of New Year’s Eve, complete with a midnight countdown and celebratory cannons.
The concept, spearheaded by DJ Corey, takes inspiration from a tradition she started in Birmingham over two decades ago.
“The idea came from realising how many people don’t get to spend New Year’s Eve with their friends. Whether it’s because they’re visiting family, avoiding the festive chaos, or simply stretched after Christmas; a lot of people miss out on celebrating the way they’d like to.”
The event aims to offer an alternative for those who skipped the usual New Year’s Eve festivities.
“By the end of January, you’ve just been paid, your friends are back in town, and dry January is over. It’s the perfect time to let loose without the stress of the festive season,” Corey added.
The New Year’s Eve Re-Run will feature the full experience of a traditional New Year’s celebration but in a more relaxed and accessible setting.
“We’ll have the countdown, the music, and the atmosphere. It might sound unconventional, but it’s a night that really works,” said Corey.
Gather your friends for this one-of-a-kind celebration at Monroe’s Live on Friday, January 31, from 11pm.
