Experience a night of authentic reggae ska with The Bionic Rats this Saturday, March 2, as part of Monroe’s Live weekly ‘Isn’t It Midnight’ dual-stage event.

Following their stellar performance in Galway last year, the Rats are back again with their unique blend of reggae, rocksteady, and ska, with a sprinkling of dub and ‘80s dancehall.

Led by the talented singer-songwriter, Del Bionic, this six-piece has earned acclaim as one of Ireland’s premier ska groups since their formation in 2006.

Their compositions weave traditional Irish elements with Jamaican rhythms, combining saxophone and fiddle to bring the spirit of revelry to their sound.

Meanwhile, DJ Killian MacDonald will spin the decks with a dance-worthy set, as ‘Isn’t It Midnight’ celebrates featured bands and a DJs every Saturday night at the award-winning venue.

Doors 11pm with the Bionic Rats onstage at midnight.
