St Patrick’s Brass Band and Power Performance Academy will mark 100 years since Walt Disney founded his eponymous company with a celebration this Sunday, December 10, at the Clayton Hotel.
Galway’s premier brass band will play a wide selection of Disney classics, to accompany the dancing, singing and performative skills of Power Performance Academy’s young talents.
St Patrick’s Band has been teaching music, providing engagement for all age ranges, and touring nationally and internationally since its inception in 1896. As a community-based organization, St Patrick’s Band seeks to collaborate with local institutions such as Power Performance Academy, spreading inclusion, participation, and enjoyment through the magical medium of music.
October 16, 2023 marked the 100th anniversary of Walt Disney founding the Walt Disney Company.
