Groups asked to participate in the Village Care Centre Open Day

The Village Care Nursing Care Centre is calling on local groups to contact it in order to participate in its upcoming open day on July 5.

It is looking for community groups to display art, set dancers to entertain the crowd, and local drama societies to put on a performance.

The open day is a community celebration that promises something for all the family. Guests will be treated to a barbecue and buffet courtesy of The Village chef and her team. The Village wine and juice bar will also be in full swing as guests are entertained by local musicians and dancers.

For the children there will be face painting, entertainers, bowling, a bouncing castle, and a number of other attractions. In the dining room the event organisers will be holding an art exhibition consisting of work from local active retirement and other community groups who wish to participate. Families are encouraged to dress smartly and avail of a reduced price family photo service.

The event will adopt a traditional theme, with many additional surprises in store. The Village Nursing Care Centre is a purpose built nursing care facility situated near the towns of Oranmore, Clarenbridge, and Craughwell.
