Acclaimed Singer Songwriter Róisín O To Perform Latest Album at Monroe’s Live

Irish singer-songwriter Róisín O is renowned internationally for her soulful voice and captivating stage presence. Her fusion of folk, pop, and rock have seen her share the stage with a host of acclaimed artists such as Lionel Richie, Bryan Ferry and Hozier as well as headlining her own tours in Ireland, Germany, the US, and Australia.

As the daughter of the iconic Mary Black, she is carving her own path while retaining her connection to her strong musical lineage. Fresh from her world tour, Róisín O will deliver an unforgettable evening of music at Monroe’s Live on Saturday, April 15 from 8pm.

Following her highly anticipated solo album ‘Courageous’ which included the top 20 hit ‘2023’, Róisín O brings her string of original work to the Dominick Street venue for an intimate performance. Her newly released album and recent world tour builds on a hugely successful musical career for the illustrious singer.

Described as evoking the likes of Joni Michell and Kate Bush, Róisín O takes us on a journey of heartbreak and healing thanks to her return as a solo artist. It has taken courage for the singer-songwriter to go back to her roots and release her own material, charting her personal life-experience through her lyrics.

In this way, she connects with her audience with her honesty and haunting vocals. On her latest album, she works with artists of such calibre as Gavin James, Lar Kaye from All Tvvins and her brother, Danny O’Reilly, of the Coronas. Featuring groovy instrumentals, Fleetwood Mac infused basslines and rhythmic guitar, Róisín O elevates her music to a new level.

In addition to her original songs, her cover of the Selena Gomez track ‘Lose You to Love Me’ has received over two million streams on Spotify. It’s set to be an exciting year for the musician as she embarks on her Irish tour.
