After Oisín leaves Tír na nÓg, Plur, with the help of her friend Choppy, sets off on a perilous journey to find him. They cross the sea to a land she has heard spoken about only in stories - Ireland, only to arrive as the War of Independence draws to a close and as the Civil War begins to brew.

While there, she encounters a group of young rebels intent on storming Renmore Barracks, but her main question remains to be answered.: Will she manage to find her father, and bring him home before it is too late?
