GTI CREATIVE 2009 will present an intensive week long day time course which will cover both fiction and poetry writing starting on Monday June 8.
The course will cover both fiction and poetry writing and be given by the poets Susan Millar DuMars and Kevin Higgins.
They will look at how to get started; how to generate ideas; and discovering and honing a unique voice. Exercises will help participants learn about character development, editing, use of figures of speech and dialogue; the dos and don’ts of networking; how to promote your writing; and how to make a living as a writer will also be covered.
