Lorraine Commins is passionate about health and wellbeing and enriching the lives of her clients, which is what drives Anam Yoga and Wellness.
Having travelled to Australia on a 12-stop around the world trip, Lorraine Commins discovered her love of health and wellbeing which led her to studying nutritional therapy on her return home, which in turn led her to an off-grid yoga retreat in Portugal and to Guatemala to complete her yoga training.
On such travels, Lorraine discovered cacao - a potent elixir of the heart - and has brought this truly remarkable multi mineral beverage with many health benefits to her practice.
Cacao beans have been recognised for centuries for their potent heartfelt power among the indigenous tribes of Central and South America. A superfood containing a complex mix of vitamins and amino acids, cacao helps to facilitate powerful transformation by accessing the heart centre and deepening one's connection to spirit.
Lorraine Commins is also a qualified breath coach and has since specialised in gravity (flexibility ) yoga.
Wanting to provide clients with a complete holistic approach and ensuring that clients leave class feeling great inside and out, Lorraine has combined her love for doTERRA sustainable essential oils into the mix.
There are many ways to get involved with Anam Yoga and Wellness – Lorraine Commins runs weekly online classes in various yoga styles, along with regular retreat days which are held in the beautiful forest surroundings at Setu Yoga Studio in Kilcornan, Clarinbridge, with the retreats combining all three aspects of the Ayurveda health care system - yoga, nutrition and essential oils - supporting the physical, emotional, and spiritual aspects of health.
